|Teams:||Calgary Bronks — 3|
|At:||Calgary Royals Gold — 7|
|Synopsis:||A very physical period to open the game with each team giving and receiving some good hard hits. Early goals by the Bronks’ Jackson Elynuik and the Royals’ Spencer Kryczka found the teams tied for much of the first period. Late in the first Josh Morrissey made a very nice play to setup Matt Gelinas for a power play goal to give the Royals a 2-1 lead.
The second period saw an offensive explosion of seven goals. The Royals had five different players find the back of the net including, Spencer Kryczka’s game winning and Mitch Collett’s team leading 13th goal. Sam Megale replied with two goals for the Bronks.
The third period was the complete opposite of the send period. Both teams played a tight hard checking period and neither was able to score. The Royals held on and won a fun game 7-3.
20 Sam Megale (F) — Sam played an aggressive game, often the first in on Royals defenders forcing the pace of the game. Not afraid to play a physical game, Sam tried to give his team a spark with his hitting, and aggression. Sam was rewarded for his hard work with two goals in the second period giving him his first multi goal game of the season.

7 Josh Morrissey (D) — Josh played a consistently solid game at both ends of the ice for the Royals. Josh scored a goal and two assists, giving him a team leading 32 points for the season. Josh is often the fuel behind the Royals offense as was the case in this game. He also played well in the defensive end of the rink; blocking shots, forcing the play to the outside and more.
