Teams: Airdrie Xtreme — 4
At: Calgary Bisons — 6
Synopsis: This was a very evenly played game through the first two periods. Both teams had plenty of scoring chances, firing a combined 57 shots through two. The Xtreme did a good job of keeping the attacking Bisons to the outside in their zone and took a 3-1 lead into the third.

In the third the Bisons stormed back, scoring four straight goals to jump out to a 5-3 lead. Tyler Wong scored late in the third for the Xtreme to cut the lead to one, but the Bisons would add another to take the 6-4 come from behind victory to remain unbeaten at 10-0-1.

Morgan Klimchuk of the Bisons skated for two shifts before heading to the dressing room for the day. Morgan is hoping to be back by next week.

Top Performers: Airdrie Xtreme :
19 Chandler Irvin (D) — Chandler played a very solid game for the Xtreme, by being effective at both ends of the ice. He’s able to use his skating ability to play a very good positional game. Chandler led the Xtreme on many good scoring opportunities during and after the Bisons comeback. He played hard on the puck at both ends of the ice.
  Calgary Bronks :
12 Jay Merkley (F) — Jay again stepped up his game when his team needed him to. Jay scored the go ahead goal in the third, and the Bisons never looked back. In the third alone Jay made three great individual efforts, resulting in a goal, an assist and a scoring opportunity. Jay has great hands and is very smart when handling the puck in traffic.
