Synopsis: Through the first 15 minutes of the first period the game was an even back and forth battle, but with about 5 minutes to go the Calgary Bronks took over, scoring five unanswered goals to take a 7 – 3 lead into the second.

The rest of the game was controlled by the Bronks. The officials were busy during the first and second period, calling a total of 19 minor penalties in the two periods combined.

Eight Bronks players put together multi-point games while the Hounds were led offensively by Presten Kopeck, who tallied 4 points (2 goals and 2 assists).

Top Performers: Medicine Hat Hockey Hounds:
12 Presten Kopeck (F) - Presten led the way in scoring and effort in this game. As a second year player Presten will be counted on to be a leader all season on the score sheet. Presten showed in this game that he has the ability to raise his level of play when needed with his physical play and work in the offensive zone
  Calgary Bronks:
9 Jamal Watson (F) - Jamal scored 2 goals and had 2 helpers in a lopsided victory for the Bronks. Not only did he produce offensively, but he also used his speed and aggressiveness to make key defensive plays and timely hits. Jamal showed the skills to be a potentially solid all around player.
